Search the questions people ask most, or browse by topic below.
Create a free account, then press Enrol on the course page. Your first lesson opens straight away. There is nothing to pay, now or later.
Your progress is saved automatically. Open My Learning and press Continue where you left off. On a slide deck, you return to the exact slide.
Lessons open in order. Finish the current lesson — and pass its quiz, if it has one — and the next lesson unlocks immediately. The lock shows which lesson to complete first.
No. The course material is protected and can only be viewed inside the platform. You can revisit any completed lesson as often as you like.
Module quizzes can be retaken. The number of attempts, if limited, is shown on the quiz page before you start. Your best score counts.
The Grand Test is the final assessment. It unlocks when every required lesson is complete, draws questions across all four domains in the same proportions as the IFBA blueprint, and passing it issues your certificate.
When the timer reaches zero the quiz submits automatically with the answers you have saved. Answers are saved as you go, so nothing is lost. If attempts remain, you can try again.
Pass the Grand Test. Your certificate is issued immediately, emailed to you, and available to download as a PDF from My Learning at any time.
Every certificate carries a unique ID and a verification link. Anyone can enter the ID on the Verify a Certificate page to confirm the holder, course and date.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. A reset link is sent to your email address and is valid for a limited time.
The platform works in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop, tablet and phone. Slides and quizzes are designed for touch as well as mouse.
Open My Account and untick the reminder emails option. Account and certificate emails are always sent.
This course prepares you for the IFBA Professional Certification in Biorisk Management. The certificate issued here confirms you completed the preparation course; the IFBA certification itself is awarded by IFBA after its own examination.
